Affiliate Management Jobs – San Francisco
The Affiliate Marketing Manager works with Publishers on the supply of traffic to the network and is the sole liaison between the affiliate network and the online publishers. The Affiliate Manager is responsible for seeking out new affiliates on a continual basis and cultivating these relationships. The Affiliate Manager will understand the nature of the business, how to increase sales, and how to grow the business.
Responsibilities include:
- Develop, maintain, and cultivate affiliate marketing relationships
- Identify key affiliate partners and media channels
- Expand relationships by reviewing account activity and identifying opportunities for partners to improve economics and value of the relationship
- Work directly with smaller publishers, agencies and internal teams
- Cold call new business prospects
- Acquire and develop new advertisers
- Stay current with trends in Affiliate Marketing
- Deal with the day-to-day operations
- Make numerous outgoing calls each day to various leads, respond to emails, prepare proposals, and manage customer support issues for several Accounts
Required Skills/Experience:
- 4+ years of affiliate marketing or business development experience
- Bachelor’s degree preferred
- Media/Advertising/Technology/Online industry experience
- Knowledgeable about the Internet, the offline and online advertising market, online products, customers and market dynamics
- Excellent verbal/written communication, presentation, customer service, and analytical skills
- Experience with dynamic environments and new interactive trends
- Problem solving skills and the ability to learn quickly
- Ability to quickly recognize and focus on the most potentially profitable Affiliates
- Possess strong project management skills, including demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Prior Sales related experience
- Self starter who can work independently as well as within a team environment
- Knowledge using Microsoft Office products
