As part of our Business Development team you will work with the Affiliate Management team to grow our online advertising affiliate network.
 
This is not your typical 9-5 position. To be successful you will need to breath Performance Marketing and constantly be reaching out to new potential advertisers.

Key Day-to-Day Responsibilities

  • Introduce advertisers  to the networks cost-per-acquisition focused services
  • Work with existing clients to explore different offers to introduce to the affiliate community
  • Keep abreast of the latest developments in Affiliate Marketing
  • Manage all clients that you brought on to the network
  • Promote Company at conferences

 

Client Management

  • Campaign Building – bringing in link and creative assets from client and testing links
  • Negotiate advertising campaign terms and rates with clients
  • Ensure that client financial accounts are up to date and accurate
  • Ensure that billing is done accurately and in a timely manner each month.
  • Build and maintain solid business relationships with clients
  • Maintain professional and appropriate working relationships with all team members which includes demonstrating respect, enthusiasm and initiative
  • Consistently demonstrate teamwork and reliability and professionalism in the workplace

 

Experience needed

  • 2+ years of business to business Sales needed
  • Experience working in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment driven by meeting and beating targets
  • Post-secondary education in business, commerce or marketing
  • Online marketing or advertising experience an asset

 

Key Competencies

  • Driven to succeed – meet and beat team and individual targets and goals
  • Ability to warm-call, up-sell and negotiate with clients
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills – Business Development Managers spend a great deal of their time communicating with their clients
  • Detail oriented
  • Advanced working knowledge of MS Office Suite, HTML and using the Internet as a research tool
